 Situated
in the Wiltshire village of Fovant, halfway between Salisbury
and Shaftsbury, Fovant Rainbow Centre is a beautiful setting
benefiting from a large outdoor space comprising a hard playground,
soft surface area and a lawn with access to private woodlands.
Nursery school, childcare and day care provision
is available and starts with the Baby Room for birth to 18
months, a separate Toddler Room for those aged 18 months to
2½
years and a pre-school for children aged 2½ to 5 years.
We offer excellent staff to child ratios
thus ensuring children are well cared for. The centre has a
separate building for school age children which is home to
the After School Club during term-time and also
a Holiday Club during Wiltshire school holidays.
The aim of Fovant Rainbow is for the complete
well-being of every child within a safe, caring and stimulating
environment. We cater for every child’s individual needs
and work in close partnership  with
parents and carers to promote the bond that exists between
nursery and home thus bridging the transition that the child
makes every day.
The children will develop their independence
and self-esteem through being respected and by learning to
respect their own environment and peers. Children are encouraged
to explore various learning opportunities and to meet challenges
with enthusiasm.
Fovant Rainbow provides a curriculum that
meets the Early Years Curriculum and incorporates the best elements
of Montessori, Pikler and Reggio methodologies. We promote “learning
through play” and believe that children who are enjoying
themselves will achieve and succeed.
